The civil services examination of UPSC consists of two papers and both are mandatory.
Each paper is of 200 points. That means a total of 400 points are tested.
Objective type (multiple choice queries) questions are asked in both the
papers. Two hours are given for each paper.
Paper-2 is of general studies which requires at least 33 per cent marks to be
